  22. Worried About Getting Your Ballot to Count?  If you feel unsafe about voting in person but now fear the USPS will be unable to deliver a “mail-in” ballot in a timely fashion.
There is a way around it:
    1. Request a mail-in ballot.
    2. Do not mail it.
    3. Google your supervisor of elections to see where you can drop off your mail-in ballot. It's usually NOT THE POLLING PLACE. All states allow this!
Here is what you're accomplishing by doing this:
    1. You're not relying on the USPS to get your ballot in on time, so no matter what, your ballot gets in on time.
    2. You don't have to worry about standing in long lines and risking infection. You're just stopping by to drop it off.
    3. You still voted! Hooray!
Also, when you drop it off find out how to track it online to make sure it is verified. California, Oregon, Washington Colorado have systems that can track your ballot just like tracking a package from Amazon.

    Sample letter:
I am writing to you today to address the highly publicized undermining of the U.S. Post Office functions and funding.

As a member of the Board of Governors, I implore you to take action and stop the deliberate dismantling of the operations of this vitally important entity.

As you know, the U.S. Postal system was established by our founding fathers in the 18th century and became an essential part of the success of our republic. It provided the public with the ability to communicate while securing their privacy and fostered economic growth. European writers such as Alexis de Tocqueville remarked in the 19th century about its achievements.

The USPO is a fundamental democratic institution. It cannot be allowed to be damaged for political reasons. It is required by our Constitution and should never become a political issue.

During the current pandemic, we have relied on deliveries and communication for our very survival. Every household receives food, clothing, supplies and medications in addition to correspondence through our local post offices.

Does the administration and the Postmaster General want to be responsible for hobbling the economy further by harming companies and billing departments everywhere?

As a taxpayer, I demand that you act immediately to remove the Postmaster General and return the post office to its full functions - our democracy and our economy is at stake.
