Meet Candidates and Elected Officials

LA DA George Gasćon
Our LA District Attorney. Meet the man reforming this office and the judicial system. He is an immigrant from Cuba, army vet, Assistant Chief of Police for LAPD, San Francisco DA, and fought against Joe Arpaio as theChief of Police Mesa Police. His efforts to target criminal reform have been essential.

LA County Assessor Jeffery Prang
During his time as Assessor he has worked to upgrade technology, increase transparency and accountability through access to data. These efforts serve as the foundation for a property tax system which generates $14 billion to fund vital local public services.

Councilman Bob Blumenfield
He has worked in Washington DC for Senator Bill Bradley and Congressmen Brad Sherman where he worked on the Budget Committee. In Sacramento as an Assemblymember he was Chair of the Budget Committee. He currently serves as LA City Council member. His efforts on housing the homeless has been groundbreaking by creating tiny homes.
