We will hear from Michael Swords, VP Government Relations, for LACI, Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator.  Their goal is to build an inclusive, green economy by using clean tech, respond to climate change, and include all communities in the work.

We will also have postcards to write for the November 4, 2025 Pennsylvania State Supreme Court. From Vote Forward:  "It’s quietly become one of the most influential courts in the country. And this year, three of the court’s seats are back on the ballot.

 Here’s why that matters: This court has a track record of protecting the democratic process during some of the most hotly contested national elections in recent years.

• In 2018, it struck down the state’s congressional map due to unconstitutional gerrymandering, paving the way for fair maps and fair elections in the future.
  
  
• In 2020, it extended the mail-in ballot deadline in one of the most hotly contested swing states of the presidential election, ensuring as many votes as possible were counted amidst a global pandemic.
  
  
• And in 2022, it stepped in to stop counties from counting invalid ballots in the state’s critically important Senate race.
