This will be a busy meeting; we have a lot to discuss and vote on, so come join us!

We will hear from Jason Berlin, the founder & leader of Field Team 6.  His organization registers voters throughout the country, and we've been writing their postcards.

We will be voting on one more race, the LA County Sheriff's race.  Robert Luna will be on a consent calendar.

We will be presenting, discussing, and voting on the remaining 10 state-wide ballot measures.  Unlikely, but if time, we will begin discussing city ballot measures.  (There are 8 of them.)  There is a remote possibility of discussing another county measure that is expected to appear on the ballot.  

Nominations for 2027 club officers and board members will begin.  Nominations can be taken up to the time we vote in September's meeting.  To be eligible for these positions, our bylaws require 30 hours of volunteer activity for VGFD in the year preceding the September meeting.

Lastly, we will have Vote Forward letters available to take home and write.  Letters can also be emailed to you.  These letters are to Get Out The Vote in November in Nevada and North Carolina, and are to be mailed in October.  1st class stamps and envelopes are required.  We will provide stamps and envelopes to those who need them, but please realize quantities are limited.
